Kindness. And a Shower.

We stumbled across this video today of Jason who each Saturday drives his bus filled with clothes, supplies and water to greet the homeless in his area. Stocked with a filled 125-gallon water tank that can supply showers for up to 27 people, Jason and his team meet those in need in an abandoned parking lot.  What started out as a modest effort of collecting donations to deliver to the homeless has now blossomed into a block-style party atmosphere with free food, supplies, music, dancing and camaraderie.  And showers for those who request them. It’s clear from the video that everyone is treated with dignity and respect.

“Jason isn’t trying to solve homelessness.  He’s just trying to make people feel loved.”   We feel he has accomplished that … and so much more.
